Costs
The costs for notarial services are regulated by law in Germany. They are based on the Court and Notary Fees Act (GNotKG), which ensures that the fees for the same services are identical throughout Germany. This ensures transparency and fairness, regardless of which notary you choose.
The amount of the fees usually depends on the value of the transaction in question. For example, the costs for purchase agreements are based on the purchase price, while for inheritance matters they depend on the asset value. This ensures that the fees are in proportion to the importance and scope of the matter.
Notaries are also obliged to act neutrally and impartially in their work. The fees therefore also include a comprehensive advisory service – from the first meeting to the final notarization.
Office Area
You are free to choose your notary anywhere in Germany and are not bound by regional borders. However, this does not apply to the notary: If you are unable to come to my office (e.g. for health reasons), an appointment away from home is possible by prior arrangement. As a notary, I am not
allowed to leave my official area.
My official area includes the following municipalities in particular:
- Werdau
- Crimmitschau
- Zwickau
- Wilkau-Haßlau
